This animation fades from NOAA’s GOES-17 satellite enhanced infrared image to derived from the GPM core satellite. On June 12, 2018 at 7:27 p.m. EDT (2327 UTC) the GPM core satellite found moderate to heavy precipitation was only present in the southeastern quadrant of the weakening hurricane Bud.
